Matt Merten
Matt Merten grew up on the west shores of Lake Winnebago. With most of the adolescent years spent wet from the waste down, he got in tune to all of the characteristics that this fantastic lake has to offer. As he grew up, he had to get a job to support his addiction to harvesting all things that swim, grow antlers, fly or just plain taste good, and became part owner/operator of a plumbing and heating business. As Matt got a little older, he decided that with his passion for people and his ability to get fish on the line, it only seemed fitting to get his Captain's license and give other people with perhaps less time to fish the experience of setting the hook on all of the nice fish that Lake Winnebago and surrounding lakes have to offer.
