It’s a regular bet between anglers to see who can ice 10 whitefish first, which is the limit. At times, this will happen very quickly, which is where we hear ‘FISH ON!” more often than not. Dale puts all of us up in wonderful heated
We’ve met some fantastic people throughout the years on these trips, and want to thank them for joining us!

Episode 7
One After Another
Show Date: February 15th & 16th, 2014
Location: Lake Winnebago; Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Guide: Pro Guide Larry Smith [920-361-4996 | walleyeguide.com]
Lake Winnebago is one of our favorite lakes to ice fish, because we’re usually catching something. This week you’ll see a typical Lake Winnebago experience, where its a grab-bag of fish, and we don’t know for sure what we’ll pull through the ice.
We’re fishing with pro guide Larry Smith, who has put us on a multi-species bite many times in the past. We know Lake Winnebago to be a great place to get out and catch fish. With the extreme cold weather thats been topic of conversation the last few months, Lake Winnebago is so frozen, that driving trucks onto the lake is not problem, and we’re using extensions on our Jiffy augers.
The bait of choice is a green and chrome Kastmaster, tipped with spikes or minnow heads. Tipping our baits will entice a fish to bite on the low-pressure days where they are a bit more finicky eaters.
