Fox Lake Wisconsin
Show Date: August 6th & 7th, 2016
Location: Fox Lake, Wisconsin
Fox Lake is a ~2,700 acre lake that is located in Dodge County Wisconsin. It is a heavy populated lake that sees a lot of pressure, both fishing and boat traffic. It is heavily fished both in the summer and winter, and the summer months there is lots of pleasure boat traffic.
So how do you start out on a lake that has so much pressure. Our resident bass expert, Hard & Soft Fishing’s Matt Bichanich explains. “Finesse fishing, which is a slower presentation, using a Kalin’s Wack-O worm; as well as “Power Fishing” which is a faster technique, used to evoke a reaction strike. We are mainly targeting bass, fishing deep weed edges, which Matt called the highway that the fish are traveling along.
We’re pleased to welcome Dan and Dave, who bid on a charity auction at St. Jerome’s Church in Oconomowoc Wisconsin.

It’s that time of year for the Gillespie family! We take the whole family up north every year to enjoy time together, and a lot of that time is spend on the water. This year we do a tour of a few lakes, as the fishing isn’t stellar the week we were there, but it’s always fun to see the kids and grandkids reel in fish of any size or species.
We are mostly using live bait, either nightcrawler or leeches. We are using many different presentations from bobbers to jigs.

Great Fishing in Sunset Country
Show Date: August 27th & 28th, 2016
Location: Eagle Lake, Ontario, Canada - Near Vermilion Bay, Ontario
Guide/Accommodations: Andy Myers Lodge [888-727-5865 - www.andymyerslodge.com]
We’re always excited and blessed to be able to travel to some of the most scenic and best fishing destinations for any angler. This week we traveled to Canada to fish Eagle Lake out of Andy Myers Lodge. We’ve got great guides, and some wonderful friends joining us to hook into what we’re here for - walleyes and muskies. Julian Kalka is the owner of Andy Myers; Steve and Danhy Herbeck who are longtime friends and anglers of Eagle Lake, and Mr. Muskie Guru himself Pete Maina is with us too.
We only have 2 days to find fish, and it’s not much of a problem to find our first target, walleyes. Pro guide, and long time friend, Danny Herbeck shows us that you can catch upwards of 150 walleyes in a day. These walleyes really put up a fight, and just beautiful.
We catch walleyes like crazy for around a half-day of fishing, and concentrate on muskie for the rest of our time on the water.
The muskies make themselves known, as we see a lot of fish show up right at the boat. One of the joys of muskie fishing Eagle Lake is the high potential for a boat-side strike, which means that your figure-eight skills better be up to snuff, because you never know when mister muskie is going to make your day.
